Stephen S. Wise has an open position working with their 20s and 30s community (the W Group).

 

The Member Relations Associate will support the Membership Department including and not limited to programming for 20s & 30s age group, volunteer organizing and recruitment, integration and retention of Temple Members under the supervision of the Director of membership.  Responsibilities include working with the 20s and 30s community (800+ individuals), event planning, community building, developing strong volunteers, maintaining membership database, fielding phone calls, providing monthly departmental reports, maintaining web pages and working closely with other departments across the organization.

 

 

  • Experience working with professionals and volunteers in a non-profit setting
  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of website design and maintenance and Content Management System (CMS) with competency in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) and Outlook software
  • Familiar with the use of social networking tools and thoughtful about how to use them
  • Demonstrate ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities and meet deadlines
  • Be a self starter who possesses follow-through skills and pays attention to details
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends or irregular hours as needed
  • The ability to communicate effectively with members, prospects, board members, both verbally and in writing
  • Understanding of Judaism
  • Minimum two years work experience
  • Event Planning or Public Relations experience is a plus

The Jewish Federation/Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Long Beach & W. Orange County:  Donor Development Director

 

This senior staff position will be a new shared position between the Jewish Federation (JF)/Jewish Community Foundation (JCF) and the Alpert Jewish Community Center (AJCC). Reporting to the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation/Jewish Community Foundation, in consultation with the AJCC Executive Director, the Director will have primary responsibility for creating and implementing a fund development plan on behalf of the Alpert Jewish Community Center and for supporting the development of integrated financial resource development activities on behalf of the JF/JCF, AJCC, and their partner agencies.

 

As a member of the joint agency Donor Relationship Management Team, the Donor Relations Director will participate, along with key management, in setting strategic fund development direction. The Team will play a pivotal role in establishing a solicitation framework for The Fund for the Future which will provide immediate and future funds to build the capacity of Greater Long Beach Jewish community agencies and sustain vibrant Jewish life and service to the community over the next 60 years, and beyond.  The successful candidate will be a creative, entrepreneurial, and team-oriented professional, with the experience and significant skills in Planned Giving and fund development techniques that will build upon and further energize a tradition of a vibrant philanthropic Jewish community.

The Jewish Federation of Las Vegas seeks a dynamic, creative and energetic professional to be our WP Director.  The successful candidate will be passionate, visionary, motivating and inspiring.  They will help to lead in partnership with volunteer leadership, the women of our community to achieve greater results in philanthropic giving and leadership participation; as well as creative and engaging programmatic initiatives designed to reach out, engage and involve greater numbers of women in WP, the Jewish Federation and our Jewish community.

 

The selected Director will possess a proven track record of personal one on one interaction with high net-worth donors, and the ability to cultivate and maintain individual relationships.  The Director of Women’s Philanthropy will interact with the general campaign and collaborate with the Director of Financial Resource Development.
