This year's exciting and new program offers opportunities in 4 distinct formats, descriptions for which are provided below.
A)   1:1 (one-on-one) Mentoring
B)    Peer Mentoring
C)    Speed Mentoring
D)    Summer Mentoring Workshop Series.

1:1 MENTORING:  Individual 1:1 Mentoring will be provided by seasoned practitioners (Traditional); and next-gen professionals with expertise to share in areas of social networking/technology (Reciprocal). Traditional and Reciprocal Mentee/Mentor pairs will meet 4-6x over 8 month period beginning Winter 2010 and ending August 2010.  Training will also be available for both mentors and mentees on February 23.
Traditional and Reciprocal Mentees will choose specific goals for their professional growth & development and for Mentor selection.
Traditional and Reciprocal Mentors will volunteer specific talents to help Mentees reach and surpass their growth goals. Mentors will also provide personal priorities for Mentee selection

GROUP/PEER MENTORING:  Group/Peer mentoring provides an opportunity to seek input, share practical solutions, and benefit from others' experiences in a group setting.  Groups can be developed based on area of expertise, length of career, and by topics of interest.  By way of example, professionals who work with young people could get together to explore specific challenges.  Other professionals might want to get together to discuss challenges in working with lay leaders and boards.  This unique, interactive format emphasizes critical and strategic thinking, fosters the communication of multiple perspectives on pressing issues, and utilizes the power of a group experience.  We will work with you to create the right group and support you as you establish a schedule of meetings.

SPEED MENTORING:  These will be stand alone events which bring together Mentees and Mentors for time-limited mentoring.  Mentees meet in small group, 30 minute rounds asking specific questions of Mentors and providing suggestions to fellow Mentees' questions when appropriate. Rounds are followed by general networking and schmoozing.

SUMMER SERIES: A series of workshops and programs are being developed for the summer, including the following:
June:  "Creating a Personal Board of Directors" - Rhoda Weisman
